Streetlife DJs have long held a place in my mental list of essential artists and production teams. But, this had been based mainly on their punchy live sets and explosive remixes - NICE. Here, they take to spawning their own track of sorts. Ripping off the classic Peter Gunn riff (as famously used to open 2ManyDJ's' classic mixtape, As Heard On Radio Soulwax Part 2) the London-based duo mutate this central premise into mind-numbing electro-rave at its finest. this track just has that 'classic' sound. i don't know why and i don't know what it is, but i find this sound almost life-affirming. perfect for that extra day you never thought you had.
